The location in the Business Park Vienna has a special meaning for Wienerberger AG. Not only is the company name derived from the name of the place, Wienerberger was also founded here at Wienerberg in 1819. As an international corporation, factors such as excellent motorway connections, proximity to the airport and easy access to the inner city are also important. As a company headquarters we value good infrastructure, i.e. traffic connections, IT, parking facilities, as well as flexible room layouts and expansion options. Moreover, it is especially important that our staff enjoy an attractive working environment - and that includes supermarkets nearby, restaurants and cafés that serve lunch, and transport services like the Twin Towers Shuttle Bus – which for many people is essential if they want to get to work without the car.

In accordance with our “people first” principle, location quality, excellent safety standards for our employees and state-of-the-art technical equipment play a key role at our facility. During our planning ten yeas ago, we placed high value on a modern, open office concept, ample communication areas and good infrastructure in terms of shops, restaurants and service businesses, parking, and access to public transportation. Jogging or walking in the beautiful Wienerberg recreation area, catching a good movie at the Cinplexx cinema or heading to the fitness centre after work – these are just some of the amenities that our staff appreciate.

The advantages of the Wienerberg location: Business Park Vienna is a regional shopping centre with a very good tenant mix in a visually appealing environment. This is an important factor in selecting a location. There is a large number of workplaces in the immediate area around Business Park Vienna, which means that there is a very large number of potential customers. Another key factor, though, is the size of a rental unit. It must offer enough space so that we can present our products to our customers in the best way possible. Another important consideration in Vienna is that it must be possible to reach the shopping centre with public transportation. And it’s important to have parking for cars.

Iglo has been located at Business Park Vienna for over ten years now, and for good reason: the site is very convenient to access. It is not far from the city centre, and the motorway and airport can both be reached quickly. And it has plenty of parking on site. A direct metro connection at the site would be ideal. The site’s infrastructure is also hard to beat. It has a hotel for guests within walking distance, a wide range of eating establishments, a balanced mix of shops, and plenty of leisure time activities. And the facility management team with its services and competent contact persons sealed the deal for us.
